Prior to entering the USAF in 1991, Shane planted the seed to helping thousands of homeowners find their new home when he took a job as a carpenter for custom homes (framers get great tans!). While serving in the USAF, Shane moonlighted as a carpenter and found that he enjoyed having a part of taking someone’s dreams set forth on a piece of paper (blueprints) and having a part in bringing that dream to reality. After his service on active duty was fulfilled, Shane returned home to Colorado where he joined the COANG and found employment as a construction manager for a large national builder and began his lengthy 25 plus year career in construction management. His career provided him with the opportunity to deliver thousands of homes to homebuyers throughout Colorado as well as Arizona. When his career first started, Colorado was experiencing huge growth, his intuition told him that this was going to soon migrate to the southwest. This is when Shane packed up and headed to Arizona where growth was robust until the mortgage meltdown (homebuilders were literally including a Lexus with the purchase of the home! Who didn’t see this coming?). A short few years later, Shane found himself back in Colorado, (because let’s face it, 120 degrees is too hot for any human to enjoy) and obtained his real estate license, and due to slow sales and a tough market, he went back into new home construction. This is when he noticed that there is an entire generation of people out there that aren’t being provided with the proper information of how to become a homeowner and take control of their financial future. Knowing he could help, he reactivated his real estate license in early 2020.
Shane also holds an active mortgage broker license in Colorado and keeps on top of loan programs slated to help those who wish to purchase or refinance their home the best resources available to meet their needs. Shane holds this license as an added value to his clients knowing that sometimes people just need to be provided with guidance through the maze of lenders and loan programs available to them.
